This is a very well-designed baby monitor. The image is crystal clear, and the camera has an excellent wide-angle lens, so you have excellent visibility. You can use this camera straight out of the box if you don't fancy connecting it to wifi but bear in mind you do need to connect it to wifi if you want to use the app on your phone. This has got excellent coverage, we have never once lost signal to the unit from either our phones or the receiver. It is mains powered so you dont need to worry about charging the batteries which is a godsend for busy parents. I love the talk back feature which i have used a couple times to soothe baby. Overall an excellent product, on the expensive side but honestly worth it for complete ease of use and excellent easy to operate functionality.

I am really impressed with this camera. Slim and sleek design and the monitor is extremely clear. Simple to set up and comes with an app. I love that you can use a the monitor or the app on your phone (great if you’re not home and want to check on the little one). Good volume to control and several different music settings. They’re all calm and soothing so perfect and means you don’t need an extra white noise monitor. You can talk to little one through the camera as well. Overall very impressed! Definitely recommend!

The camera is really clear. Lots of movement to camera to ensure you can get it in the perfect position. Variety of songs to be used via the monitor all with different beats and twinkles. The voice ability is really clear when used through the camera Used a usb-c charger so easily accessible at home and out and about. The app! We haven't needed to use it yet but when have been playing with it its been excellent The night light is also an ideal feature!

I’ve used the Philips Avent Connected Baby Video Monitor (SCD951/26) for the past month and it has quickly become an essential part of our bedtime routine. Setup was straightforward: the parent unit paired with the camera in minutes, and the Avent Baby Monitor+ app connected on the first try. Video quality is sharp on the 4.3″ screen and in the app—daylight colors look true, and night-vision offers plenty of detail without glaring infrared spots. Sound is crisp with no noticeable hiss, so I can hear every little sigh. The two-way talk feature is surprisingly natural; my baby settles faster when I can speak or sing through the monitor. The built-in night-light gives a soft glow that doesn’t disturb sleep, and the 15 pre-loaded lullabies (plus the option to record our own) have been a huge help during wind-down. I also check the room-temperature read-out at a glance, which saves an extra gadget on the nursery shelf. Range and connection have been rock-solid so far - we get full-strength signal on a different floor and reliable streaming over cellular when I’m out. Overall, the monitor delivers exactly what I wanted: clear sight, clear sound, and the confidence to leave the room without worry.

As a parent, peace of mind is everything and Philips Avent baby monitor has really delivered that for me. First of all, the grey colour looks really sleek and fits nicely with the room decor. The screen is clear and bright, and the sound quality is excellent..you can hear every little sound and shuffle. What I love most is being able to check on my baby from anywhere thanks to the connected app. Whether I’m in the garden or away for a short work trip, I feel like I’m right there with them. It’s easy to set up and use, and feels really reliable. Highly recommend this monitor for anyone who wants that extra peace of mind when they're away from their little one.

This is an excellent monitor. The video is clear even in the dark. I receive notifications so I don't need to worry that I'll miss something. Its handy having the built in nightlight. Really good product one of the best monitors I've used so far.

This needs more than a 5 star! Easy to set up. This product comes with the camera, screen and two USB-C cables for power! The sound quality is amazing, and has a thermometer on so you don’t have to worry about not knowing whether the room is the right temperature or not. The camera goes 120 degrees which is perfect for being able to capture baby! If you’re not a tech person, you can manually set up the camera instead of having to do it through a website tutorial. It’s very easy to set up and you’ll find that the camera works on the monitor easy peasy! There is an app if you prefer to see your little one on your phone ! This product has a baby crying feature on it, which only alerts you when your baby is actually crying (not any background noises!) Well done Philips you have designed yet again an amazing product! Extremely happy, great purchase and very good value for money!

A great product, I was really impressed with the image quality on both the display and when using the app. It is much clearer than baby monitors i have used in the past. Set up was extremely easily and took a couple of minutes. I was surprised how much i used the app instead of the the monitor to check on my baby. I found it handy and a great additional feature. Due to the current heatwave the temperature of the room on both the app and the monitor was a great help .

5/5 for this baby monitor because I love the night light feature and the camera itself has night vision too - therefore you get a really good view of your baby even better than being in the room yourself. I highly recommend this product especially because you don't need batteries for it and both parts are re-chargeable. The range for the parent unit is also quite impressive I can view from any part of the house including the garden. The Talk back feature is so useful because often I can soothe my baby and stop them from panic in the time it takes me to reach them. I can also hear their response which is helpful.
